What does a Gas Safe ID card look like?

If you’re having your boiler or cooker repaired with Home Appliance Care, you are safe in the knowledge that the job will be handled by a fully qualified and experienced engineer.

All of our engineers are vetted and Gas Safe registered. This is vital because dangerous gas work can lead to accidents, such as gas leaks, fires and carbon monoxide poisoning. Because of this, all legally qualified gas fitters must be registered onto the Gas Safe Register, and carry their card when they work.

When your Home Appliance Care engineer comes out to your property, not only will you be able to recognise them from their branded uniform and liveried van, but they will also present their Gas Safe registration card for you to see.

Check the card to see their licence number, the start and expiry date, and the security hologram which shows that the card is authentic. Check the reverse of the card too to see that the engineer is qualified to do the job you want done, and that their qualifications are up to date.

Of course, when you book a fixed price repair or installation through Home Appliance Care, you have peace of mind in knowing that you are dealing with the best engineers in the business, and every installation and repair will be followed by an immediate gas safety check. You’ll also have our customer services team just at the other end of the phone for any queries, and we’re always happy to help.
