How to recognise one of our engineers


At Home Appliance Care, we know how vital it is for our customers to feel safe and secure in their homes, which is why we make every effort to present our engineers clearly as genuine Home Appliance Care staff.


When you or a loved one makes a call for a repair service through Home Appliance Care, you can be assured of recognising one of our engineers. Look out for the following signs:


The engineer will be driving a fully branded and Home Appliance Care liveried van.


He or she will also be wearing a Home Appliance Care branded uniform, and – crucially – be carrying an approved Gas Safety Register card.


You will also spot that the engineer is carrying tools and parts – and will be ready and prepared for the job. He or she will have called beforehand to confirm the visit and will know your name and the job that has been booked.


Upon occasion, when demand for the Home Appliance Care service is extremely high, we use a small number of carefully selected contractors to support our fleet of directly employed engineers. However, in such an instance, the customer services advisor will tell you the name of our vetted and approved agent who will be attending, so that you are always kept up to date with the progress of your repair visit, and know what to look out for.
