What to expect from our repair service


At Home Appliance Care, we are committed to providing excellent customer support and a highly reliable, efficient and professional service. For that reason, we operate according to a strict process, which ensures that you receive the quality you expect from us – every time.


You can request a fixed price repair online or by telephone, and you will receive a follow up by one of our customer service advisers within 24 hours. The booking is confirmed upon payment, and the adviser will work you through all the information and steps required.


We’ll send you a text message reminder on the evening before your appointment, just as a courtesy prompt. On the day of the visit itself, the engineer will telephone you to provide an estimated arrival time, so that you are always kept up to date.


When the engineer arrives, he or she will be wearing a branded uniform, driving a liveried van and will carry a Gas Safe Registration card. The engineer will endeavour to carry out the repair there and then, and if for any reason, a further appointment is required, then the engineer will rebook this whilst at your property, and confirm the date with you.


If you happen to be out when the engineer arrives, he or she will rebook an appointment before leaving for their next booking, and they will leave an appointment card and a contact number for you, in case you need to rearrange.


Once the repair is completed, the engineer will carry out a full safety check to ensure that the appliance is working to its full specification – and you will have your favourite kitchen appliance restored to full working order once again!
